Orange Wine 101

About the Event
Although it’s been around for centuries, people are now starting to catch on to orange wines. While trendy, it’s also tasty, especially if you’re looking for a little something different. Typically white wines are made without any skin/stem/seed contact whereas reds are always made with the skins and sometimes the seeds and stems. Grape skin contact is what turns white wine into orange wine. It has nothing to do with actual oranges.
Orange wine provides a bit more visual and palate interest. i.e. adds tannins, body, aromas…Let's taste the difference.
